Lodging Information:
For my Mississippi River Duck hunts I would recommend staying at the Grandview Motel in Ferryville that is located just a few blocks from the boat landing that I primarily use.  If you are looking for a hunting lodge style atmosphere there is the Duck Inn Lodge located in Prairie du Chien.  I have links up of their web sites under my links page.  If none of those work out for you I can help point you in the right direction to one of the many motels and hotels located in Prairie du Chien.  Down below you can click on the interactive map to get driving directions to Ferryville.
For the goose and turkey hunts there are many hotel and motel options in the Stevens Point area.  I have a few listed in the information that I will send you at time of booking, but if you would like contact information to any other area hotels I will be glad to give it to you.

 What to Bring:
I would recommend bringing cloths for multiple weather conditions, like rain and cold weather gear.  Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable and can change in just a few minutes time.
  • Waders (Duck Hunts only)
  • Facemask
  • Warm cloths i.e hats and gloves
  • Steel shotgun shells (Waterfowl Hunts)

-recommend 2's for duck hunting with 2 boxes of shells for each day

                 of hunting.

  • Camera
